7:30pm: Eva Cassidy- How Can I Keep from Singing, Malaspina Theatre (VIU), $25/adult $15/students

The show tells the life story of Eva Cassidy and features over 25 songs in musical styles ranging from jazz and blues, to gospel, country and folk.

7:30pm: Dan Mangan (concert), Port Theatre, $29.50/adult

See Dan Mangan, two time Juno winning artist live in Nanaimo. His newest sound is darker and a lot more complex, but still as honest and affecting as his other work.

A Cappella Plus is thrilled to be launching their new partnership with Artistic Director, Patricia Plumley! This concert spans the ages from the Renaissance to the present.

8:00-10:00pm: FlamenCubana (show), Port Theatre, $60-65/adult

Twelve internationally-renowned artists from Spain, Cuba, and Venezuela join together for the premiere performance of FlamenCubana. Flamenco meets Latin Cuban music.

9:00pm: R&B Allstars, The Queens, $23.25

The band with the signature white tuxedos still includes 8 original members from ’79 and 3 new additions. See their passion live on stage at the Queens.
