“FEASTIVAL” is Nanaimo’s second annual festival celebrating the Island’s culinary culture. This year, the mid-Island’s food and beverage festival takes place over two days at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre. Friday evening introduces “SIPS” – sampling of “local” craft brews, ciders, wines, and spirits. And by local, we mean some of the finest Vancouver Island and lower mainland craft producers! A new addition to Friday’s SIPS is the “Brewed Right Here” competition seeking the finest local home brew. A souvenir SIPS tasting glass and 5 complimentary tasting tickets are included in the $39 admission price. Additional tasting tickets are available on site.
